Sunsetting A2A and Upgrading to TransferNow
A2A will sunset on December 9, 2024 and upgrade to TransferNow. This new and improved account to account transfer service offers benefits such as quicker transaction times, improved security features, and a more user-friendly interface. You will have the ability to transfer money between accounts you own at other financial institutions with just a few taps from online banking or your mobile banking app. TransferNow has multiple transfer options to execute simple one-time transfers, recurring transfers, or future-dated transfers with next day or standard three-day delivery. (Fees may apply).
How do I enroll in TransferNow?
Setting up TransferNow is easy!
1. A First National Bank Checking account is required.
2. Log into First National Bank Online or Mobility Banking.
3. Select “Transfer” option.
4. Select the “External Account Transfer” link.
5. Choose “Add a New Account” (Transfers you previously had set up with A2A will need to be set up and verified again with TransferNow.)
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to add your external accounts and complete the verification process.
What account information do I need to make an external transfer?
You will need your external account number and the financial institution’s routing number to complete the transfer.
How do I verify my account with TransferNow?
You have two options for account ownership verification: trial deposit verification and real-time verification. Real-time verification is only available if the external institution participates in TransferNow.
Ø Trial Deposit Verification – Micro transaction amounts will be processed to your external account within 1-3 business days and you will be instructed to confirm the amounts.
Ø Real-time Verification – You will need to enter your external account’s online banking credentials to complete verification. The real-time verification process allows you to proceed promptly with the transfer. However, you will be asked for your log-in credentials at the other financial institution(s) including any challenge questions.
Will my existing transfers carry over after the upgrade?
No, existing transfers will not transfer automatically. You will need to set up your existing transfers in TransferNow. Helpful Tip: Review and record current transfers or accounts currently available in A2A to add to TransferNow.
How quickly will my transferred funds appear in my account?
Standard transfers arrive in the receiving account within three (3) business days.
Can I transfer funds to another person’s account using TransferNow?
No, TransferNow should only be used to transfer funds between accounts owned by the customer. Payments to third party accounts should be made using Zelle, bill pay or other payment services.

$5,000.00 in aggregate per calendar month
